Cookies

This cookie policy aims to inform you clearly and precisely about the cookies used on the Cruwi website.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text fragment that websites you visit send to the browser, allowing the website to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language and other options, in order to facilitate your next visit and make the site more useful to you. Cookies play a very important role and contribute to providing a better browsing experience for the user.

Types of cookies

Depending on who manages the domain from which cookies are sent and the data obtained is processed, two types can be distinguished: first-party cookies and third-party cookies.

There is also a second classification according to the period of time they remain stored in the client's browser, which can be session cookies or persistent cookies.

Finally, there is another classification with five types of cookies according to the purpose for which the data obtained is processed: technical cookies, personalization cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, and behavioral advertising cookies.

For more information in this regard, you can consult the Guide on the use of cookies from the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Cookies used on the website

This website uses the cookies below. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice:

  • cruwi_consent: first-party, technical. Stores whether you accepted or rejected advertising cookies, so we don't ask again. Duration: 12 months.
  • _ga and _ga_D9H06EN478: analytics, from Google Analytics (Google), loaded through Google Tag Manager. They tell visitors and sessions apart to measure how many people use the site, which pages they visit and where they come from. Duration: 2 years.
  • _clck and _clsk: analytics, from Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft), loaded through Google Tag Manager. They record how pages are browsed (clicks and scrolling) so we can improve the site. Duration: 1 year and 1 day, respectively.
  • _fbp and _fbc: advertising, from the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). They measure the results of our ads on Meta and let us show ads to people who have visited the site. Duration: 3 months.
  • _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie and ttcsid: advertising, from the TikTok pixel. They measure the results of our ads on TikTok and let us show ads to people who have visited the site. Duration: up to 13 months.
  • __oppref: advertising, set by the OpenAI measurement pixel (ads in ChatGPT). Stores an identifier of a click on a CRUWI ad in ChatGPT, to measure whether that click leads to a sign-up. Duration: 30 days.
  • __obref: advertising, set by the OpenAI measurement pixel. A random browser identifier used to measure conversions. Duration: 12 months.
  • __oaiq_consent: technical, set by the OpenAI measurement pixel. Stores your choice about advertising measurement. Duration: 30 days.

These cookies are stored on the cruwi.com domain and its subdomains, such as brands.cruwi.com, so that a sign-up on the platform that started with an ad click can be measured. OpenAI processes measurement data under its own privacy policy. When a page contains a form, such as the sign-up form, the pixel may read data such as the email address and send it to OpenAI as a SHA-256 hash, never in plain text, to match the conversion to the ad.

Acceptance of the cookie policy

Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you click "Accept" in the cookie notice. If you click "Reject", they are not set and the website works the same.

How to modify cookie settings

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. If you withdraw consent, the analytics and advertising cookies are deleted. You can also restrict, block or delete cookies in your browser; each browser's "Help" function will show you how.
